The Sri MS Group commenced operations in Kuala Terengganu in April 1979 with the establishment of Syarikat Hisam Motors as a used-car dealer by the late Mr. V. Sinnu, the elder brother of Mr. V. M. Samy. After a lot of hardwork, Syarikat Hisam Motors created a name for itself as a dealer of quality used-cars.

In 1989, the Group established Rodawira Otomobil Sdn Bhd to become a dealer of Proton cars in Kuala Terengganu. This was followed by the setting-up of Rodawira Otomobil Services Sdn Bhd to service new and used cars.

The Group’s next milestone was the obtaining of KIA dealership in 1997 through Musaini Auto Sdn Bhd, which incidentally is the sole KIA dealer in Terengganu. Musaini also obtained the sole Hyundai dealership for Terengganu in 1998.  

In the year 2000, Sri MS Car Sdn Bhd was established in Shah Alam to deal in KIA cars. This marked the Group’s entry into the Klang Valley.  

In 2003, the Sri MS Group diversified into property Development through its property arm, Sri MS Development Sdn Bhd.
