KIA engineers place
top priority on safety, as evident from the RIO's improved
safety features. Using the very latest in computer aided
engineering and design tools, the RIO's body frame has been made
stronger and more rigid. Reinforced A and B pillars are stiffer
and stringer for improve crashworthiness. The new RIO is
designed with crumple zones that absorb much of teh energy of an
impact. All pillars have been injected with foam for more
cushioned surface area to minimize bodily injury in the event of
a crash. |
